Born out of COVID and Niall’s passion for making Irish seafood accessible to all, Salty Buoy is more than just a food truck—it’s a celebration of Ireland’s best seafood, served fresh and fuss-free. As a multi-award-winning seafood chef and advocate for sustainability, Niall has built his career championing local, responsibly sourced seafood.
From boat to plate, we work directly with Irish fishers, selecting only the freshest, most sustainable catch. Housed in a retrofitted Citroën H van, Salty Buoy serves up lobster rolls, freshly shucked oysters, crab, crispy fried fish, and daily specials dictated by the freshest catch and the weather—think creamy chowder, zingy poké bowls, chargrilled smoky prawns, classic fish and chips, and fresh Dublin Bay prawns.
From beachside bites to private events, we bring restaurant-quality seafood to you. Find us at Skerries Sailing Club from April to September, or book us for an event and let us bring the feast to you.
